FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you have just booked a service, please read our FAQs.

Please bring in your bike by 10:30am on the day of your service, we will contact you as soon as your bike is ready for collection. If you would like to drop the bike off on the day before, please get in touch first. We open at 10am Monday to Friday and are normally closed at weekends.

Please make sure your bike is clean from mud and dirt when bringing it in for a service. If we are unable to do the work due to excess dirt, we may need to charge a £20 cleaning fee.

Please allow 2 – 5 days. There may be further delays if we have to order parts for your bike that are not held in stock. We will let you know if there is going to be a delay and give you an estimated completion time.

Please let us know at least 24 hours before your bike is due for its service.

This all depends on how much you use your bike. If you’re a commuter and use it every day, we would recommend a service every 3-4 months or 500 miles. If you are a casual or hobby user and ride at weekends we would recommend every 5-6 months, usually either side of the winter. If you are a very occasional user – perhaps fair weather or on holiday – then a yearly service should be sufficient.

We normally ask you to bring in your bike to the shop for its service. If you have booked a GOLD service and live within 5 miles of the workshop, please get in touch. We may be able to offer a pick up but this is subject to availability as the workshop gets very busy.

If you need to get in touch, please call us on 01483 923 790.
